The Braidwater Group has been shortlisted for six of the categories in the 2024 CEF awards.

Set up to showcase the best of the house building industry in Northern Ireland, the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) Awards are the most instantly recognised, respected and hotly contested awards on offer.

The Braidwater Group have been informed they are shortlisted for the following six award categories:-

Excellence in the Use of Construction Software
Excellence in Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Private Housing Project – Roe Wood, Limavady
Private Housing Project – Beech Hill View, Derry/Londonderry
Transport & Utilities Infrastructure Project – Black Ridge, Glenmona
Transport & Utilities Infrastructure Project – H2, The Cashel

Speaking after the announcement, Darren Farnan, Marketing Manager at the Braidwater Group, said the company was delighted to receive such prestigious recognition.

‘This fully endorses the Group’s overall range of ongoing projects, innovative technology and proactive initiatives, and also ensures’ Braidwater continues to lead the way in delivering on major house building projects in Northern Ireland.

‘At Braidwater, we are very proud to have our own in-house software engineer who has developed an Intelligent Home Delivery Platform (IHDP). This is a pioneering software solution leveraging advanced mapping technology with multiple data layers to revolutionise the construction industry.’

Pointing out that the group were at the cutting edge when it comes to major residential developments, he added: 

‘As well as advances in software development, the Group is to the fore in its social and private developments which includes some of the largest residential developments in Northern Ireland.’ 

Mr. Farnan went on to stress the prioritisation of health, safety, and well-being of all involved at the company.

‘With unwavering commitment, we have integrated innovative practices and also fostered a culture that places human welfare at the forefront.’

Following the announcement, Ryan Boyle, Chief Operating Officer for the Braidwater Group, added how instrumental the staff were throughout the day-to-day running and long-term planning of the business.
