For Christopher Gorman and his partner Susan Fitzsimons, 2024 has been a roller coaster of a year!

Having just moved into their dream home in Cloughan View, Ballyclare, the happy couple are due to tie the knot in September this year, and then on for a luxurious honeymoon in the beautiful Crete.

Before all that, they have to navigate their way through the roller coaster rides that Alton Towers has to offer, as a small post move-in treat.

Christopher was beaming with the news this week and said the happy couple can’t wait to get away.

’It’s just all come together! The house, the wedding and a trip to Alton Towers, we can’t wait. We’re over the moon with our new home but it probably won’t sink in properly until we return from England and actually get to sit back and relax.’’

His fiancée Susan was also over the moon and delighted with recent events and also how the planning is going.

‘We were considering buying a house together for some time and last May we were touring around the various new developments when we noticed a Property Pal advertisement for Cloughan View.’

Having been hooked by one of the adverts, Susan got to work on checking out the information online including some handy additions to help with their purchasing decision.

‘She added ‘We were on Property Pal looking at all the house options and also the Braidwater website and the 3D walkthroughs and home visualiser gave us some idea of what we were potentially looking for.

‘Straight away we knew Cloughan View was for us, so we pre-booked and now here we are, one year on and in our new home. It has all worked out perfectly!’

A new community, with luxurious homes, is blossoming in Ballyclare.

As both Christopher and Susan work from home, the 4-bed detached home is ideal for keeping their work schedules rigid but at the same time getting the most out of their comfortable surroundings.

‘We were in awe of the show home and Gordon from Simon Brien Residential was superb as he arranged a tour of one of the first homes being built and that gave us an excellent understanding of the layout and the actual size of the rooms.’

All-in-all, both Christopher and Susan are very happy with how things have progressed and they are also delighted with the whole process.

‘The purchasing journey has been straightforward and we’ve been kept in the loop at all times by both Simon Brien Residential and Braidwater. We asked for quite a few changes and additional upgrades and nothing was ever a problem. The site team as well, have been very accommodating and we’d like to thank everyone involved in making our dream home come through.’

So for the happy couple, the highlight of the year so far has been their dream home move and the only roller coaster journey will be at Alton Towers!
