For Mark and Shannon, receiving the keys to their new home in June 2024 was their dream move.

The couple were eager to find a place of their own and especially for their one and a half year-old daughter, Katie, for their own space and where they could create lasting memories together.

“We had already seen other homes in the development and knew this was where we wanted to be,” Shannon recalls.

“The location was perfect, especially with a school nearby for Katie’s future. But what really sealed the deal for us was the show home. Walking through it, we could instantly picture ourselves living there.”

The process, from reserving their home to move-in day, was seamless. “It was really easy from start to finish,” Mark says.

“We got to pick out everything we wanted, which made it feel like our own straight away. Having everything brand new was a huge bonus.”

Braidwater and Bensons Estate Agents made sure everything ran smoothly, while Eamonn, the site foreman, was always there to lend a hand.

“One time, we couldn’t figure out the gas, and Eamonn was around straight away to help. That level of service made such a difference.”

For the couple, the most exciting moment was finally getting their keys. “We were so ready,” Shannon laughs. “That first night, we were absolutely exhausted from moving, but we just couldn’t wait to stay in our new home.”

Since settling in, the benefits have been immediate. Their home is warm and energy-efficient, with instant hot water, an upgrade from the oil-based heating system they were used to. More importantly, they finally have their own space.

“Katie has her own room now, and she loves it,” Mark says. “She has plenty of space to play, and we have the privacy we need.”

The neighborhood has been a perfect fit. “It’s such a quiet area, and the neighbors are fantastic,” Shannon adds. In fact, they love it so much that Shannon’s mum decided to buy a Braidwater home just around the corner.

“We couldn’t be happier with our new home. It’s exactly what we dreamed of, and we’d recommend Braidwater to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and a real sense of community.”
